With a standard extruded width of 1220mm (48''), Extra Long
S-P-A-N planks are available in
4 different thicknesses ranging from 150mm (6'')
up to 300mm (12'') according to structural requirements. Used
in all types of buildings and construction applications, hollow
core planks can be installed on conventional concrete, masonry
or steel structures.
Factory cuts are performed to accommodate the project
geometry and major openings. All conventional mechanical drilling
under 250mm (10'') are easily performed on site.
Savings, performance, positive return on investment are achieved
by; speed of installation all year round, less structural support
elements, reduction of construction total height, 2 hour fire
resistance, use of under side as a finished ceiling, use of
cores as electrical and mechanical highways and other advantages
according to project characteristics.

Schokbeton Extra Long S-p-a-n hollow core
plank is manufactured by extrusion and vibration of low slump
concrete. Prestressed steel cables along with continued cores
allow for free spans up to 14 meters (46 feet).
Hollow core planks are lighter and can support greater loads
than conventional poured in place floor / roof systems.
STRUCTURES
SCHOKBETON’s specialized erection crew, performs installation
from precise shop drawings.
Like paving blocks, planks are dropped in place, adjusted and
connected to the structure with adapted anchors.
Application of mortar in key joints creates a monolithic effect
and assures vertical and horizontal load transfer (diaphragm
effect).
